Edward "Ed" Duensing was born, raised, and spent his first 21 years in Belleville, KS.  His medical career began in 1990, as an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician), while he was in high school.  He then advanced to becoming a Paramedic.  He worked as a Paramedic from 1994-1999.  He returned to school and earned his BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) degree through Baker University in 2000.  In 2003, he earned his BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) degree from Washburn University.  From 2003 - 2019, he worked as a nurse in different areas but primarily emergency departments.  He completed his Master of Science in Nursing - Family Nurse Practitioner program in December 2019 through Walden University.  He also earned his AANP (American Association of Nurse Practitioner's) national certification at the end of December 2019.  

Ed has worked in Primary Care for the last 5 years along with providing services in some rural Emergency Departments.  He decided to become self-employed and open this walk-in, urgent care, and primary care clinic in Neodesha.  

Ed has been married for almost 30 years.  His wife is a Registered Nurse and they have two adult children.  His son is a Software Engineer for Garmin in Kansas City and his daughter is also a Registered Nurse and works in an ICU.
